Lightning Strike Knocks Out Lodi
A lightning strike which hit a power generating station yesterday knocked power out to the cities of Lodi and Woodbridge, California. All told, over 35,000 were without power for two and a half hours.
The amazing thing: All went well.
There was no increase in crime, and fire and police staff were unaffected. Only two people were trapped in elevators, and barbers asked their clientele to move outside where there was still light to finish up. That was about it.
Just a little rare "good" weather news for you.
