Lightning Fataility and Oil Tank Blaze
Lightning wreaked havoc in the Plains on Monday... in Glenpool, Oklahoma, lightning hit a 125,000-barrel oil tank, sending toxic smoke into the air and causing evacuations and traffic problems. The Sapulpa Daily Herald has an article and some photos of the blaze.
In addition, the Rocky Mountain News reports that a Denver man was killed by lightning Sunday in the parking lot of a flea market in Adams County, Colorado.
