Lake-Effect Snow MCV on Lake Michigan

The radar at Chicago, Illinois this morning showed an MCV (Mesoscale Convective Vortex) that had developed with a strong lake-effect snow band. Or I think it was an MCV... at least one vortex, if not two, was present. Here's a view of the HD Velocity product from RadarPlus:

The rotation showed a clear circulation center and made "landfall" without much fanfare around 9:15 a.m. Central time (and no, I don't believe the 99 mph gust at Burns Harbor, Indiana based it was too late, plus there was a lack of storm reports, and previous missing gusts in the raw data).
