Kevin Goes to Cali, NYC; Ignacio to Alaska, Fred to Spain
According to some of the ATCF wacky computer forecast models, current tropical systems in the East Pacific and Atlantic are on their way to some exotic places. The one that caught my eye first was Hurricane Ignacio (north of Hawaii) which seems bound for Alaska (or at least British Columbia):

No worries though -- it will have transformed into an Extratropical (or, regular) low pressure system by then, due to the cold Pacific waters.
Next, take a look at (former) Hurricane Fred, which struck the Cape Verde islands (which was rare), and, several models say, may be vacationing off the coast of Spain in a couple weeks:

Even though hits on Spain from Tropical Storms have occurred, he's already weakened considerably, and the majority of models show him staying out over the ocean (then probably dissipating or turning into an extratropical low pressure system).
And last, but not least, Tropical Storm Kevin, where three models are showing him hitting California and one -- LOL -- shows him over New York City at the end of the forecast period.

Remember, these forecasts go out 15 days, well beyond the ATCF skill set, and most of the destination points will probably be wrong. Even if Kevin did make it to the East Coast, unlike former-Hurricane Ike, he'd be a shadow of his former self. He likely won't even reach hurricane strength in the East Pacific, where he has his best chance to be a big-boy storm.
