SOURCE: KMTV. LOCATION: Omaha, Nebraska. Dashboard camera video captures a car chase that police say looked like something straight out of a movie. Earlier that day police say, Carter had robbed numerous businesses in both Iowa and Nebraska. At speeds of over 100 miles an hour, officers from Omaha tailed Carter for miles. But shortly after the high-speed chase began, it got more dangerous. The officer's dash cam video shows Carter shooting away his own back window and taking aim at the officers behind him. But as the chase continued, Carter and the cops found themselves between railroad tracks and a pond. Soon after Carter left his car, cops shoot him. He was hit five times in the back. He survived.
