INT: UK, Canada White Christmases
After writing my entry on U.S. Average White Christmas Maps, I thought I should mention that historical information on White Christmases also exists for a couple other countries (email me with more):
First, Environment Canada provides the White Christmas map shown below and highlights (Canada has a White Christmas every year but the most significant storm was in 1998). Surprisingly, a text listing of percentages shows that not every town is a shoe-in, though most cities are above 75%, compared to the U.S. The least likely place to see a White Christmas in Canada is southwest British Columbia, where marine influences keep the weather warmer.

Next up, the Met Office out of the United Kingdom reports that the Last White Christmas in the United Kingdom was in 2004 (the BBC has an article and photos). They don't have a list of percentage chances; they do claim to have details of recent White Christmases for various cities on the link above, but the links were not working as of this writing.
