INT: Photos: Germany Floods, Surge, Snow
Check out some Associated Press photos from Germany late this week. I presume that the coastal flooding and "storm tide" refers to what we refer to as "storm surge" here in the United States with hurricanes. This article says that tides were more than 3 feet above normal and that 20-meter waves were predicted with the storm.
