INT: Pakistan Snow, India Lightning Photo
A news article reports that Skardu, a city in Pakistan (where?), received its first ever recorded April snow this week, cutting it off from the rest of the country. Heavy rain also affected the northern part of the country.

A U.S. Air Force analysis of snow cover showed that a heavy snow pack still exists in northern Pakistan (some snow pack stays most of the summer there), but the image did not have the resolution to pick up this lighter snow which fell unusually far south.
