If you wondered about how the Outer Banks fared during the coastal storm check out the two incredible photo slide shows here and here.

Those photos show the damage around the Rodanthe / Mirlo Beach area (site of the "Nights in Rodanthe" movie, yes, the house "Serendipity" is still standing). So, I'm going to see "2012" with Meteo Madness Man this afternoon. I'll give you a review tonight or tomorrow. People are busting on the movie already for not being realistic or accurate but news flash: It's a movie. I personally am forward to seeing what I believe will be the best natural disaster effects movie ever.
