Imminent Iceage in Northeast
"Bill, I'm talkin' imminent rueage..."
--Dusty, "Twister"
As mentioned earlier, some places in PA & NY will likely get some ice on the edge of the Thanksgiving Nor'easter. Right now precipitation is approaching Central Pennsylvania. Although official NWS observing stations are above freezing, there is a cold wedge extending from central New York state into central PA. It is just below 32 at AccuWeather HQ and is 25 at my house in State College!
The NWS says:
Of course, warmer air is coming with the precipitation so it will be a close call, and I won't be up to see it because I'm all tuckered out. Talk to you on Thanksgiving, friends.
