HYPE: Winter Storm After Storm For NE
This morning's models are predicting a mid-week winter storm for the Northeast. The NMM, DGEX (see below) and GFS all show considerable snow from Central PA through New England.
Friday's storm is expected to be too warm for any significant winter precipitation, according to the DGEX and GFS, but there will be considerable snow shower and lake-effect activity behind it, all the way to the southern North Carolina mountains again.
But the GFS shows another possible winter event next Friday April 20th, and even gives the mid-Atlantic (and Northeast) another chance on the 24th.
