HYPE: Two Tropical Storms Hit Land Friday
The NMM model is saying, if you can believe this, that two Tropical Storms will be hitting land on Friday, one in Mexico and one on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, the latter which strengthens as it moves north, hitting <992 mb (29.30") in Canada on the last forecast interval.
Of course, it's still too early to tell and odds are that one system will be delayed, weaken, or have its direction change by the complex being that we call Mother Nature. Storm 1 is the disturbance currently being tracked via Model Spread [JessePedia] in the Gulf:
And the second develops off the Carolina coast. The DGEX likes the Cape Cod hit after weakening from a <1000 mb (29.52") storm two days later, but the GFS is like, "What storms where now?", showing neither one.
