HYPE: Mid-Atlantic Snow, WI Sleet, TX Flood
The GFS believes that the mid-Atlantic (sans coastal plain) has another shot at snow or freezing rain Saturday.
The DGEX foresees heavy sleet and other winter precipitation in central Wisconsin next Wednesday:
And it's almost Spring -- time for flooding Spring rains. The GFS's best guess as of the overnight run is that more than 6 inches of rain will fall in the Texas Panhandle before hour 180, with over 5 in western Louisiana.
Then it thinks that Texas will get hit again with over 6 inches in the eastern portion, by Day 15.
