We have what could only be described as a "boatload" of graphics regarding the tropical disturbance east of Florida today.

Our point is, rip currents will continue to be a risk (it doesn't take a big storm to produce them) and heavy rain will soon approach the coast, probably cross it, then we should all keep an eye on the Gulf. AccuWeather.com Professional's Joe Bastardi [BIO] (PRO) said in his blog earlier today "The Miami radar is showing an increase in arcing bands and this may be the sign we are starting to get a low level circulation developing with the impending tropical system."Meteo Madness Man (PREMIUM | PRO) says "Once it gets into the Gulf, it should continue west towards Texas and I do think it has the chance to become a tropical storm."
The NHC [JessePedia] is running a miniature Model Spread [JessePedia] on the system, with most taking it into the Gulf.
