HYPE: Euro NOLA Hurricane, GFS East Flood
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm no Brendan Loy. But the ECMWF (European) Model, which I'm not allowed to show here due to commercial restrictions, has a hurricane coming straight north from Panama, if you can believe that, next week and it makes landfall near New Orleans on September 24th. Joe Bastardi is talking more about this on our Energy Pro site. We even made a graphic for it!
The GFS doesn't show any landfalls during the next two weeks, but likes rain for the East, big time, dumping 4-8" inches on the Southeast coast, with 10+ offshore by Day 7:
