HYPE: Carolina Snow
The GFS is talking trash overnight about you folks in the Carolinas getting some light snow or flurries in the mountains, and even on the coast, next Sunday.
This is the same weekend storm that the model has been talking about for a while, though the overnight run has tended more towards rain or sleet than snow, at least where the heavier precip is falling. But after the bulk of the precip has exited the Northeast, it likes to keep light snow or flurries behind the system as far south as the Hazzard Area [JessePedia].
