Hurricane Hanna To Hit Jesse`s Beach House
Our forecast for (soon to be) Hurricane Hanna, shown as the red line from our Interactive Google Tracker below, has her tracking right over the top of the house that I have rented for vacation for the last 20 years.

Even if you go street-level, it's pretty darn close.
Of course, it doesn't matter at that level because the eye of the storm will be larger than the entire map above, but I just thought it was ironic - you can't get much closer than that.
The yellow line, to the left in the top graphic, is the NHC forecast, which is considerably different than ours this morning. As I've blogged before, the most important thing about landfall is whether you're on the right or left side of the eye, because oceanfront damage will be worse on the right/north side.
The other interesting thing is the strength. We say she'll be a Hurricane, the government thinks Tropical Storm. I tell you one thing - it may still be a Tropical Storm, but it has some incredible waves.
