Hurricane Ernesto Model Spread
You know, I'm glad that I said I wouldn't blog yesterday, because we were embroiled in a 13-hour trip to North Carolina (which should have been 9 hours). It wasn't that bad, just long, and even though I got us lost once we saw some interesting stuff. More on that later.
While we slept overnight in quiet northwestern North Carolina, Ernesto has become a hurricane over the Caribbean Sea:
The model spread from AccuWeather.com Professional shows it moving towards Florida and the eastern Gulf, but it will have to make it over Cuba first. The morning satellite shows some impressive thunderstorms and outflow.
