Hurricane 2009 Forecast Coming Soon

UPDATE: The forecast has been updated as of June 1, 2009. The information below may no longer be valid.

I am literally, right now, in an internal meeting at AccuWeather where AccuWeather.com Professional's Joe Bastardi [BIO] (PRO USERS READ NOW | 30-DAY FREE TRIAL) is presenting his forecast for the Hurricane Season of 2009. I am not allowed to release any of the information from this forecast until Wednesday, when it will appear on the front page of AccuWeather.com.

If you would like to see it sooner, take a 30-day free trial of our Pro site. Joe released a preliminary version of this forecast for Pro users on March 7th.

Last year Joe said "We believe at least 40% of named storms will cause tropical storm or hurricane conditions on the US coastline, which is about 1.6 times the norm." The actual number ended up being 50%. Will this season hold similar probabilities? Stay tuned.
