High Risk: Severe Weather For Parkersburg
The SPC has issued a High Risk for severe storms today in parts of the Midwest, surrounded by a larger Moderate Risk which includes Parkersburg, Iowa which was devastated by a tornado last weekend (see Categories: Parkersburg Tornado at right).
In fact, our forecast for the town (PREMIUM | PRO) looks like this:
The chances of the town getting hit with a tornado again, of course, are minuscule, but any severe weather will hamper recovery efforts.

Interestingly enough, if we get 60 tornadoes tonight, which is not out of the question, we will break the record for the most active May since records began in 1950 (I haven't personally checked these stats so let me know if there are any issues by leaving a Comment).
