Heat Wave Report, 120 RF Wednesday
At least a dozen record high temperatures were set Tuesday in the Southeast. It was 103 at Florence, South Carolina and 104 at Augusta, Georgia. Roanoke, Virginia only dipped to 76 Monday night, setting a new "high minimum" record there. More records will be posted later this morning.
Wednesday is likely to bring RealFeel temperatures as high as 120 in the Deep South. Even more of the country is covered by Excessive Heat Advisories than on Tuesday:
