Half a Foot of Rain in Eastern NC
Although no reports of flooding have been received by the National Weather Service, AccuWeather.com RadarPlus shows that more than 6 inches of rain has fallen in parts of rural eastern North Carolina today, as a failed Nor'easter cranks up off the coast.
Ironically, the local National Weather Service office in Morehead City has declared this week Flood Safety Week.
