Great Lakes Storm Winds, Waves
UPDATE 9/29: Looks like #45012 had waves over 10 feet last night. I saved off some "greatest hits" graphs here.
UPDATE 7 PM: As Eric suggests in the Comments below, check out this webcam to see the waves roll in on Lake Michigan. A seiche, similar to a hurricane's storm surge, is currently ongoing on Lake Erie. The water level at Buffalo, NY is up over 5 feet while at the other end of the Lake Toledo, OH is down 5 feet! Buoy #45005 north of Cleveland is now clocking winds of 43 knots and waves to 8.9 feet. At #45012 on Lake Ontario, 43 knots and waves to 7.9 feet.
