Google Earth: NWS Chicago Storm Survey
The NWS [JessePedia] has completed their Storm Survey of Thursday's Chicago Storms. They found a long track of wind damage across the northern part of the city, several more points of damage, and an EF-1 tornado inside the wind damage track. Winds were estimated between 80 and 100 mph at several points. In the video blog below, I take a look at the damage path (in 3-D) with Google Earth.
