Giant Snowman Shut Down, SUVs Encased in Ice
It being Christmas Eve, I couldn't resist pointing out these two weather-related videos (which I inserted into the Raw Video player at right). First, the maker of a 16-foot snowman known as "SnowZilla" in Anchorage, Alaska gets a "cease and desist" letter. More information on this story is available from MSNBC. UPDATE: SnowZilla has returned, now 25-feet tall, but the owner says he didn't do it (video).
Next, a city water pipe in Chicago bursts and encases two SUVs in several inches of ice. This may remind you of the famous Swiss Freeze where the ocean encased vehicles in ice in 2005.
