Friday Featured Fotos: Wind Turbines
It's time again for Friday Featured Fotos! This week we're taking a look at photos of Wind Turbines (which hold the (possible) promise of clean, renewable energy) from all over the world.
So relax, it's Friday, and join me as I take a look at some of the best photos in the AccuWeather.com Weather Photo Gallery archive. Register for an account and upload yours today!

forensicmeteoboy, AKA Joseph Moore from Pennsylvania, uses a Nikon D40, writes a weather blog, and is a "Student at Millersville University studying Meteorology, class of 2011!" Joseph recently uploaded some exciting lightning shots from the early February storms we had here in the state.
angie3881, AKA Angie G, says in her profile "I am a mom, wife, full time employee of a not for profit and part-time photographer wanna-be! I live on a farm in Iowa." Her photos run the gamut from beautiful landscapes to winter scenes.

AP PHOTO CAPTION:A rainbow is visible looking West from Palm Springs, Calif. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2008 next to an array of wind turbines. Southern California has been hit with heavy rainstorms totaling more than 4 inches in some areas over a 24 hour period which has some experts on edge about the possibility of mudslides. Scattered showers are forecast for the next few days. (AP Photo/Sandy Huffaker).

Friday Featured Fotos is a weekly weather photography show where I take a look at (and explain) the best photos in the AccuWeather.com Photo Gallery archive, look at photo-related gadgets, and welcome new users. Future segments may include photography, videography, and webcam tips and reviews. Any photo from the Gallery is qualified to be in this show (unlike our Moderators Picks awards, which concentrate on weather photos from the last month), so if you've seen something on the Gallery you'd like me to feature, drop me an email at community @ accuweather.com
*Associated Press Photo of the Week displayed through exclusive agreement with Associated Press, not for redistribution. Did you know? AccuWeather helps the AP sell the AP Photo Archive to schools and universities worldwide.
