Friday Featured Fotos: Delaware Mystery Cloud
This week in Friday Featured Fotos video blog, I want to just take a look at the different photos submitted to the AccuWeather.com Photo Gallery for the Delaware "Mystery Cloud" / Possible Waterspout that I have talked about ad nauseam this week. With this blog entry, I'm closing the book on this discussion, though the Forum Thread on it will be open forever if you're visiting in the future and want to weigh in.
In the video, I annotate and illustrate the possible meteorological mechanics that cause what you see in the photos and look at some possible solutions... was it a thunderstorm updraft or downdraft, or an arcus cloud turned vertical?

Friday Featured Fotos is a weekly weather photography show where I take a look at (and explain) the best photos in the AccuWeather.com Photo Gallery archive, look at photo-related gadgets, and welcome new users. Future segments may include photography, videography, and webcam tips and reviews. Any photo from the Gallery is qualified to be in this show (unlike our Moderators Picks awards, which concentrate on weather photos from the last month), so if you've seen something on the Gallery you'd like me to feature, drop me an email at community @ accuweather.com
