Friday Afternoon Storm Webcam Updates
8 PM: OK, I officially have storm burnout now. Thanks for tuning in this week! Since the webcams are dark now, you can check out dozens of pics from the New Jersey coast today from "TheBastage"... I think this one is my favorite:
4 PM: Blog reader Matthew points out that the Delaware D.O.T. cameras show some interesting things such as the ocean and sand washing across Route 1 (pick "North Indian River Inlet" or reload this page to update the image below). Also on the Ocean City, NJ cam I can see the waves threatening to push out into the roadway as high tide approaches. And finally the Hatteras Cam shown below continues to show deep water on Highway 12.
Over 100,000 are still without power. Waves have spiked to 28.5 feet off the New Jersey coast on Buoy #44066.
