Feels like 50 below, must be Valentine's Day
It's going to be cold this Valentine's Day. That's not news. But it is the coldest air of the winter, which is unusual; it will feel like 50 below zero and may be the coldest Valentine's Day in the historical record for some New England cities. That is news.
The GFS model is predicting temperatures as low as -19 F in northwestern Pennsylvania and -38 F in southeastern Ontario.
