Fall Foliage Season Is Upon Us

Just a quick note to say: It's that time of year again!

Fall foliage season is upon us and you can use the web to take a virtual tour of the colors across the United States.

I just finished updating my list of state fall foliage information websites, which I do each year about this time.

The WeatherMatrix Fall Color Webcams section is also up-to-date.

And finally, AccuWeather has opened up our seasonal section about fall which contains facts and information about fall color, and will show maps depicting where the color is best, starting this week.

Here in Central Pennsylvania, a few maples have chosen to turn, but it will be a week or two before color gets good... IF it gets good. If what we say is true about fall seasons during a drought, it might not be too impressive.
