Eyeball-Burning Hot: 99 Degrees In Northeast
I just came back inside and I have to tell you that my eyeballs were burning. Maybe it was the allergies, but the high temperature of 92 here in State College, PA didn't help.
Temperatures got up to 99 degrees this afternoon at three official reporting stations: Columbus, Ohio; Franklin, Virginia; and Hoffman, North Carolina, but no one hit 100. The RealFeel temperature spiked to 112 in Franklin shortly after lunch.
