Extreme Heat Buckles Road in Wisc.
This article tells of buckled roads and popped tires Sunday in Wisconsin, due to the extreme heat. All three lanes of eastbound I-94 just east of the Twin Cities (MN) was shut down for 3 hours. Ground temperatures, which are cooler this time of year than during typical summer heat in Wisconsin, were blamed for the mishap.
