Some stations there read 90 degrees at 10 a.m. and the following stations hit 99 degrees this afternoon (highest RealFeel temperatures today shown in parentheses):
Statesboro (128) Dew point 82
Rome (114)
Bainbridge (111) Dew point 81
Albany (107)

*The government dew point sensors are notoriously troublesome, and dew points over 80 degrees are often considered unreliable. It is possible that these readings are exaggerated.
Shout Out To Virginia: Although temperatures were only 93, dewpoints of 81 combined to create RealFeel temperatures of 113 and 114 at respectively at Melfa and South Hill, Virginia at 5 p.m.
