Death Valley Flood, Big Reno Snow. Thanks El Nino!
You've heard that the El Niño this winter may be the biggest on record. Well, it's already started hammering the West coast with storms. Yesterday, Reno, Nevada, received one of their biggest snowfalls ever (photos). It was also one of the highest totals in the area (competing with California ski resorts!) Death Valley saw a "historic" flood in late October, trapping tourists behind a 100-foot wall of water with 20-foot waves, according to the L.A. times.

Apparently, El Niño is also leading to more mosquitos in the South.
