Crazy Plane Video, Storm Saves Mick Jagger

I came across two crazy and weather-related stories today, and, while I'd normally leave the reporting of these up to my Twitter feed, it was too much insanity for one day, so I'm reporting them here.

First, during Europe's big storm over the weekend, a large airplane attempted to land at the Hamburg, Germany airport, was literally blown off the runway, scraped its wing, and took off again (later to attempt landing again, successfully that time). You can see the video at CNN.

Second, Mick Jagger says that the Hells Angels attempted to assassinate him by sea, at his home in December 1969, but were foiled by a storm that capsized their boat. One article quotes a date but I don't think it was the event in question. If anyone knows when this supposed assassination attempt took place, we could look at the weather map for that day.
