CO Red Snow Update, Big Eastern Snows

It's interesting that the media is now catching up with the Colorado Red Snow story that I posted on Monday. Here's an article from Vail Daily and another article and video from KCNC explaining the avalanche danger:

In other snow news, here's an update to yesterday's snowfall totals... some of these are pretty impressive for April, but most are at very high elevations (exception: lake-effect snow belts):
