Cameras Catch Tornadoes on Tape

I recently found these terrifying videos caught by a school surveillance camera in Bentonville, Arkansas on March 12th as a tornado passed by the school. Debris is flying, and you can even watch a light tower fall over. You can also see photos taken the next day.

Today, I was alerted to some more crazy inside and outside video from a school that was in the path of the Caruthersville, Missouri tornado. To view it, check the front page and video player on KFVS12's website.

In a world where surveillance cameras (and even webcams) are becoming ubiquitous, I expect that we'll enjoy more extreme weather videos in the future.
