First, a beautiful snow scene shot today in Camino, California snapped by user highlands:
Next up, photographer dogfoodman shows us light snow on mailboxes in Redwood Valley, CA:
He says: "Many heating bills will be coming to these mail boxes in Mendocino County CA. Due to the 'Blizzard of 06'!"
And last but not least, from Bill Westphal (wb6ypf), a night-time shot from his webcam showing snow on the peaks behind his home in Altadena, California:
Bill notes: "The cold winter storm blew down from the Gulf Of Alaska bringing light rain, low temps and low snow levels. Snow on the hill tops in this photo is at 2000 feet. I am at 1680 feet. The WeatherCam performs very well in low light. This photo at 1:51 a.m. was most likely around a 16 second exposure. The bright clear skies and snow covered hills make for a wonderful photo."
