California Rainfall, In 3-D

NASA has released a beautiful 3-D image showing the last week's worth of rainfall (estimated by satellite). It shows over 250 mm (nearly 10 inches )in the California mountains and over 300 mm (nearly 12 inches ) in Washington State. A movie of the accumulation is also available here (warning -- high bandwidth).
