California Precip: 588% or 18%?
Ahh, the state of California. Frequent changes in elevation make for wildly changing weather over a few miles. This is no more apparent than looking at precipitation so far this May:
Some areas, such as San Diego and Paso Robles, have received over 500% of their normal precipitation, while some, such as Eureka and Palm Springs, are closer to 20%.
