Blogs: La Nina, Philly Snow Contest
I wanted to point out a couple of quick blog entries of note from some of the other meteorologists around the AccuWeather office this week:
Elliot Abrams is hosting his Annual Snowfall Contest (PREMIUM | PRO). This year, the question is: What date will Philadelphia see their first inch of snowfall? I've submitted my vote; submit yours today.
Meteo Madness Man, AKA Henry Margusity, has issued his U.S. 2007-2008 Winter Forecast (PREMIUM | PRO), and Brett Anderson has let loose his Canadian Winter Forecast (PREMIUM | PRO). The official AccuWeather.com Winter Forecast will be out on October 19th.
And last but not least, our Western Experts Ken Clark (PREMIUM | PRO) and Paul Yeager (PREMIUM | PRO) have published several entries on La Nina, which will adversely affect the West Coast this winter.
