Highlighting some of the things that our other talented bloggers are talking about this week:

I put together a contest for AccuWeather Senior VP Elliot Abrams (PREMIUM | PRO). On his blog, you can guess the date of the first 92-degree temperature this summer in New York City. Winners get an item from the AccuMall!

Our International Expert Jim Andrews (PREMIUM | PRO) talks about the extreme heat caused by the latest scirocco (also known as sirocco, which was what one of our computer firewalls used to be named here at AccuWeather). Temperatures were as high as 111 in Tunisia and 113 in Algeria.

Katrina Voss (PREMIUM | PRO) gives the results of her weather mad libs from last week. (Readers say they were very [verb] and the best thing since [noun].)
