Big Storm Brings Big Winds, Snows, Confusion
I'm again updating the BreakingWeather Twitter account today with stats from the powerhouse storm moving into the Plains today. Live feed of that below. As with the eastern storm, we'd love to hear your snow amounts and other weather updates on Twitter, Facebook, our Photo Gallery and Forums (click here for detailed instructions).
I think there are a couple of things that this storm will be remembered for... one is the winds (which even outside of the Blizzard area have gusted over 90 mph in three states as of this morning, list below). The other I think is what will be widely-varying snow amounts in the Northeast. Because freezing rain, sleet and rain will mix in, this is a very tough forecast and snow amounts will vary greatly both due to elevation and the normal freezing line. A lot of snow lovers will end up disappointed, while a few will be elated and there could be some surprisingly high amounts, though we won't know until it's all over.
Here's a running list of wind gusts and snowfall amounts from the storm (updated occasionally, real-time updates happening on Twitter).

Check out this radar image and wind graph from Phoenix last night. Over 250,000 lost power when this line of storms moved through the city just before midnight.
