Answering Teacher`s Pressuring Questions

A 4th grade teacher from Ohio asked some interesting and basic questions about the relationship of atmospheric pressure, air masses and temperature, through our "Ask a Met" section on AccuWeather.com. Knowing I couldn't do the answer justice, I decided to pass these questions on to Elliot Abrams (PREMIUM | PRO), who wrote the book on weather (literally). He has answered her questions today in his blog and it's a great educational lesson on atmospheric basics for those of you who didn't go to school for meteorology. As Elliot said, kudos to her for asking to learn more and not just teaching what she had on hand.
