Another Slow Blogging Week
ORIGINAL POST:
I want to apologize again for slow blogging this week. I've once again become overwhelmed by work and personal tasks after getting back from vacation to Mom's house in North Carolina last week. Then after a Holiday on Monday and a Sick Day on Tuesday, some major website launches at AccuWeather took up most of my time this week. My new schedule, required to transport my step-daughter to school (which includes getting up at 5 am so that I can arrive to work at 7) has also taken its toll.
I even missed the annual Penn State Meteorology Tour here at AccuWeather. 120 incoming freshmen majoring in meteorology flooded into our building Wednesday night for an intro by our founder Joel Myers, then tours of the AccuWeather building. This, like the Penn State Weather Camp, is something that I normally take part in each year. It's always good to see young people with an interest in meteorology.
Fortunately, as of today there should be calmer times, albeit in the eye of the storm. But now I'm blogging at 12:40 am so let me get some sleep and talk more with you later today.
