Another Foot of Rain for LA
Louisiana has done it again. For the fourth time this month, the central part of the state has been inundated, reporting over a foot of rain in the last 24 hours, according to Doppler Precipitation Estimates:
As of this writing at 7 a.m. Friday, there are no news reports yet, but the NWS in Lake Charles, LA received these reports overnight:
The report out of that office already indicated over 20 inches of rain in eastern Texas, over 14 inches in parts of Louisiana and more than 300 homes damaged in their coverage area, before last night's storm.
