An Inch of Ice for Washington
Our forecasts tonight predict over 1 inch of freezing rain to fall in the mountains of Washington State. Even a tenth of an inch of ice is a big problem!
Fortunately for humans, much of this will fall on the uninhabited high moutains, but it will make for some serious hazardous driving on the mountain passes.
Already Tuesday evening, freezing rain (shown in pink below) was falling over much of the area.
