Alabama Waterspout Photos

UPDATE: Stephen Carboni from the National Weather Service pointed out that a Special Marine Warning was issued for this storm, noting that waterspouts were being produced. Ironically, he was also quoted in the news article covered in my blog entry about the lack of hurricanes this season, also written yesterday.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

A waterspout was sighted near Orange Shores, Alabama (map) yesterday afternoon. Amazingly, this beauty did not make the National Weather Service's list of tornado reports, nor did it generate a Tornado Warning.
