Action Starts in Texas with Heavy Rain, Waves
The storm that will bring heavy rain and winds to the South (and eventually turn into a Nor'easter this weekend) is cranking in Texas and the eastern Gulf this morning.
It has already dropped 4-5 inches of rain on the coast between Corpus Christi and Galveston:
Off the coast, the winds and waves are already cranking at Buoy #42002 to the tune of 41 knots and 14 feet.
