AccuCam T-Storm, Mid-Atlantic Moderate Risk
It could be an exciting severe weather day here in State College, Pennsylvania, home of AccuWeather HQ [Google Map]. Earlier this morning, we were in a Moderate Risk as issued by The SPC [JessePedia], but after they woke up and realized that we have been getting passed by for severe thunderstorms so far in 2008, they shifted it to the East.
Just kidding, I'm sure they had a good reason. Local storm chasers such as Meteo Madness Man (PREMIUM | PRO) and I are cautiously optimistic, despite the lame severe weather season so far. Heck, we already had thunderstorms ongoing this morning, which is really unusual here.
In fact, you could see it bubbling up on the brand new high-res AccuCam (click to load a 4 MB Animated GIF):

In any case... people in the red areas above should monitor their local official warnings this afternoon, as some of these storms could be quite severe.
